Join us for the 125th Anniversary NPS Speaker Series at Mt Rainier National Park where Cascades Carnivore Project lead scientist, Jocelyn Akins, will present about the important work being done to study and protect carnivores at risk of extinction in mountain ecosystems of the Washington Cascades. All are invited to attend in person at the Paradise Inn. If you can’t make it to Paradise, the presentation will be live-streamed online and recorded!

Forest Funk Fundraiser

Gruff Brewing Company, Bellingham, Washington

Gruff Brewery is hosting the Forest Funk Fundraiser in partnership with Cascades Carnivore Project to raise awareness about the work we are doing across Washington’s Cascades and provide opportunities for community members to get involved in rare carnivore conservation. Dr. Jocelyn Akins give a short presentation at 6:30 pm with special guest, ecologist and filmmaler Chris Morgan. Live music from 5pm-11pm. Gruff is releasing their What Lynx Us Together! IPA, a carnivore-inspired beer during this event with a percentage of the proceeds supporting Cascades Carnivore Project. Costumes encouraged! We hope to see you there!
